A lot of newcomers struggle with finding health services upon arrival to Ottawa. We believe in timely and coordinated care to detect health concerns as early as possible, when the chances of treatment and cure are much better. Our health care providers at the clinic have numerous years of experience in providing services to refugees and immigrants.
Our clinic offers a wide range of services to refugees and immigrants. Our temporary primary care clinic provides short-term medical services while supporting them to find ongoing primary care provider or health-care team.
Our clinical services include:
- Initial medical assessments and follow-ups
- Physical examinations and screening
- Vaccinations against infectious diseases such as measles, mumps, rubella, diphtheria, polio and tetanus
- Diagnostic tests for tuberculosis
- Treatment for inactive tuberculosis
- Referrals to specialized medical services
- Psychotherapy and counselling
- Psychiatric assessments and follow-up
- Health care education
- Support with connecting clients to ongoing primary care provider
Our mental health services include psychotherapy, psychiatry and counselling support to individuals who are living with moderate to severe mental health conditions. Health care providers can refer clients to our mental health program by completing the following referral form:

Please note that we do not offer walk-in services, all medical and psychotherapy or counselling appointments must be scheduled in advance. Interpretation support is available for all appointments at our clinic.
