ONHC receives funding to serve an increasing number of GARs (Government Assisted Refugees). The clinic is able to expand services to cover PSRs and some Refugee Claimants. OLA’s demand quickly surpasses capacity. We run out of funds half way through the year and are faced with a tough challenge. With support from the Champlain LHIN and partner Access Alliance Language Services, we embark on a journey to remodel OLA as a Social Enterprise.
